Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 September 2026
This policy explains how Booker handles personal data. It covers two groups: businesses who use Booker, and customers who book appointments with those businesses.
If you book an appointment
The business you're booking with is responsible for your data (the "controller"). Booker processes it for them (as a "processor"). We collect your name, email address, mobile number, any note you add, and the details of your booking. We use them only to:
- make and manage your booking;
- send your confirmation and reminders by email, and by text if you leave the SMS box ticked;
- let the business see and contact you about your appointment.
We don't sell your data or send you marketing. To stop texts, untick the box when booking, or ask the business. For any other request about your data, contact the business directly — we'll help them respond.
If you run a business on Booker
We collect your account details (name, email, phone, business details) and billing information. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. We use your data to provide the service, bill you, and contact you about your account.
Who we share data with
- Twilio — to send text messages
- Our email delivery provider — to send emails
- Stripe — to take subscription payments
- Cloudflare — to deliver and protect the website
How long we keep it
Booking data is kept while the business's account is open and deleted within 90 days of the account closing. Businesses can delete customer records at any time.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and protect forms. The booking page remembers your details on your own device so you don't have to type them again.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact: [email protected].
